Website to keep web page updating
by Christopher Heng, Nearly all websites have more than one page.Creating multiple pages for a website is a relatively simple task; things only get troublesome when you want to make a design change that affects all the pages of your website.
Using a template makes the job of adding new pages to much easier than it would otherwise have been: any time I want to add a new article, all I need to do is to use that custom template and insert my article content into the right column.
After you plan and create a Web publication in Microsoft Office Publisher 2007, you can publish it to the web, a network server, or a shared folder on your own computer.
Whatever the destination, Publisher creates filtered HTML files from the Web publication.
You do not need to manually go through every page to make those design changes.
To facilitate this auto-updating feature, Dreamweaver requires that you indicate which portions of your page constitute the fixed part of your design and which portions contain the content that varies from page to page. When you do this, Dreamweaver will create a new subfolder, called "Templates", in your website directory.
